Michael has a meeting with friend Rick Klotz at "Enter the Dragon" night club. Rick request to be partners with Michael in a new clothing concept called fresh jive clothing Michael politely turns Rick down. Fresh jive's future success is a reminder for Michael to keep doors open and never be tendentious. -

Michael marries his wife Miriam in Bolton Connecticut. Four hurricanes strike the state of Florida for weeks in a row. Abadak signs exclusive Tarps order with the state of Florida and becomes largest tarp supplier in North America. The tarp industry nicknames Michael Stein "Hurricane Mike" -
2005
several hurricanes strike North America including hurricane Katrina. Abadak supplies tarps and tents to the Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, Red Cross and the state of Louisiana as well as donating thousands of Tarps to the relief effort. Abadak becomes leading global tarp supplier.
