The boutique, strategically located in this dynamic area, epitomized the brand’s unwavering commitment to artistry and exclusivity. Adding a personal touch, Niharika Shekhawat, Sunita’s daughter, oversaw the store, ensuring a tailored and a seamless luxury experience for every guest. The store reinforced the brand’s foothold in one of India’s most distinguished neighborhoods.

Managed by Niharika, the store embodies the brand’s commitment to artistry, exclusivity, and personalized service. Sharing the space with other prestigious global brands such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Rolex, the boutique enhances the brand’s presence in India’s most exclusive retail destination, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in luxury jewelry.

Inception of the First Curation of MoMH (Museum Of Meenakari Heritage)
The Museum of Meenakari Heritage (MoMH) in Jaipur is a monument that beautifully showcases India’s rich tradition of enamelling on jewelry, with charm and elegance at its heart. Dr. Usha Balakrishnan, in collaboration with Sunita Shekhawat, co-curated the museum to honor the art of enamelling craftsmanship in India. The museum stands as a tribute to the skill and artistry of enamel artisans, preserving and displaying their work for future generations to admire. This unique initiative reflects a deep commitment to preserving tradition while providing a platform for this timeless legacy to truly shine.

Launch of the MoMH
In March 2024, Sunita Shekhawat inaugurated the Museum of Meenakari Heritage (MoMH) in Jaipur, India’s first institution dedicated to the ancient art of Enamel. Spanning over 3000 sq. ft., the gallery is situated near Jaipur’s historic walled city. The museum features over 300 images sourced from more than 15 prestigious museums, private collections, art galleries, and auction houses across the globe, documenting the intricate history of enamelling from Renaissance Europe to its arrival in India. These include renowned institutions such as the British Museum, V&A Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Al-Thani Collection, Aga Khan Museum, The Hermitage, and Sotheby’s, among others. The launch of MoMH has garnered unprecedented global coverage, with features in leading publications like Condé Nast Traveller, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and The Times of India. This initiative marks a significant milestone in preserving India’s cultural heritage while promoting the global recognition and appreciation of enamel craftsmanship.
