Needle & Thread

The embroidery process uses needle and thread to embellish products with your logo. Embroidery is precise, professional, and long-lasting, making it an attractive decoration method. Please note that the final price is based upon the logo stitch count (base pricing includes one custom logo up to 10,000 stitches). Custom name personalization can be added for an additional $10 per piece.

File Types & Sizing

We will accept any file type for artwork but prefer .JPG, .PDF, and .EPS, in the highest resolution possible. DST files are accepted for embroidery orders but must be the proper size for the size/location being requested. It is essential to submit high resolution artwork in order to ensure the quality of your logo.

Once we receive your order, a sales rep will be in contact to confirm your order and artwork. A proof will be produced and sent for approval before your job goes into production. For orders requesting embroidery, a sew-out sample of your custom embroidered logo will be sent for approval.

PMS Thread
Matching

This selection matches the custom embroidery thread as closely as possible to the PMS colors of your custom logo.

The Color On
Color

Color on color custom embroidery matches the thread color to the color of the shirt.

Tone On
Tone

Tone on tone pairs different tones of the product to the custom embroidery thread color being used for the logo.

Color Coordinate

Refers to using thread colors that coordinate with the color of the shirt, but may not be company-specific or the match the color of the shirt.

The size and location of custom embroidery is dependent on the product.
For custom embroidered shirts, a standard logo is 2-3 inches in size. Our standard logo locations for custom shirts include chest and sleeve placement. For alternative locations please submit a custom request form.
For custom embroidered hats, a standard logo is about 3 inches in size. Standard logo location includes head front, side, or back.
Decoration sizing and placement for custom bags and backpacks is dependent on the product.

Additional Decoration Methods The Screen Printing Process

Screen printing is a decoration method used for creating custom t-shirts in bulk and involves layering ink to create a desired design. This method is most cost effective for runs of 48+ units that include logos with fewer colors (this is due to the screen setup). The base price listed includes a 1-color logo for this decoration method. Final pricing for your order will be based upon the number of colors in your custom logo.

The Desing
The standard screen printing logo locations include left chest, center chest, and upper back. The standard sizing of the left chest location is between 3” and 4” wide. Standard sizing of the center chest location is between 6” and 10” wide and upper back is around 12” wide. For non-standard custom logo locations a custom request can be submitted.
