Cubbington’s Cabinet pledges to continually look within ourselves to identify and address signs of bias like racism regardless of whether or not it's a trending topic to actively rebuke systems of discrimination to condemn the use of racist sexist and homophobic behavior and language towards other and to question stereotypes as well as overt and subtle expressions of bias.
We also pledge to proactively greet and support entrepreneurial and leadership opportunities for people of color, women, and the traditionally marginalized. As a self-funded woman-owned business this is more than a pledge it's part of our mission.
We know bias and institutionalized discrimination will not end with a mere pledge. It requires intentional and ongoing transformation within us and many institutions and structures of our community and society know more than ever our journey of learning and growth must be deliberate and conscious.
